Our long term rental narrowboats The Squire, The Count, The Laird, The Marquess, The Duke, The Duchess, The Princess & The Viscount can be hired at as little as 50% of normal narrowboat holiday hire charges. The minimum hire is one month and monthly increments thereafter; you can hire for any duration provided it is for bona fide continuous cruising with a minimum crew of two adults over 18.

Our narrowboats and barges are properly licenced as hirecraft with the correct Hire Boat Safety Certificates and a thorough Handover period. We provide all the training and tuition you need to set off on your journey with confidence. No licence is required to steer the boat.
We’re not a residential boat letting agency for those seeking to live in one fixed place, and we are not aware of any company that does this, but we welcome anyone who wishes to genuinely cruise around our unique canal system, near or far….
Just so as we all get off on the right footing please note that we do not offer residential/static hire and we are unable to hire to solo/single boaters – there must be two adults aboard whilst cruising. Our boats must be seen to be properly continuously cruising. (Please see our Terms and Conditions before booking)
