The Count

The Count is a 56ft cruiser stern canal narrowboat with a ‘standard’ layout i.e. living area towards the bow. She was added to our fleet in 2020 after a comprehensive refit and exterior repaint and has been on continuous hire ever since! The Count is ideal for a couple for spacious long term cruising. Comfortable reclining armchairs in the lounge for relaxing with a full dining table too. The Count features a fully enclosed bow deck with traditional cratch and covers, and a side hatch in the galley for added ventlation and views! Pet-friendly.

Equipment includes:

  • solar panels for charging the batteries if you’re not cruising too much

  • 240V 2kW power supply

  • onboard washing machine

  • standard sized under-counter electric fridge

  • 4 ring gas hob and under-counter grill and oven

  • full diesel central heating as well as a multifuel stove

  • crockery, cutlery, glassware, and cookware

  • optional single/double z-bed for visiting extra 1/2 guests in the living area

  • traditional cratch & canopy keeping the cockpit dry in wetter weather
