N.B. This plan will be modified once the interior refit is complete. Note that the bathroom is slightly different and is a walk-through type, and that the dining table shown is actually a fully fitted permanent L-shaped dinette with removeable table, converting into a double bed.

 

The Duchess

Newly added to our fleet in January 2023, and with a major bathroom refit, The Duchess looks stunning in matching colours, and has a very similar layout to The Duke and The Marquess.

The Duchess is a deceptively spacious 52ft cruiser stern canal narrowboat with a ‘standard’ layout i.e. living area towards the bow. She is ideal for a couple for spacious long term cruising, with a permanent dinette that converts to a double bed for occasional guests. There are comfortable reclining armchairs in the lounge for relaxing too. The Duchess has an open cockpit. The cruiser stern has a full steel ‘dodger’ around it to keep the wind off your legs and young children/pets onboard! The Duchess’s lounge is carpeted so please bear in mind the extra day-to-day cleaning required to ensure these remain pristine if pets are being considered!
